PILATES®

Pilates – What is it? It has become a very effective way to shape up, slim down and feel great while reinforcing healthy postures and breathing techniques. It is a contemporary approach to the mind-body exercise that German athlete Joseph Pilates developed in the 1920’s. An emphasis on movement quality, posture and breathing makes Pilates a safe and effective workout. Our credentialed and highly experienced instructors make every effort to accommodate those with physical limitations through modifications of movement patterns and levels of intensity. Once the secret of dancers and athletes, it is now recommended by physicians, physical and occupational therapists and personal trainers.
