Cord Injury Care System is currently conducting several
research studies to learn more about improving the health
and well-being of people with spinal cord injury. We
encourage people with SCI to consider being involved in
these studies. By doing so, participants can play a more
active role in their own health care and help others by

Locomotion Biomechanics Research Project:
Powered Orthoses for Gait Rehabilitation
The findings of this research may be
applied to gait rehabilitation after spinal cord injury
and/or stroke.
- Are you healthy and 18-70 years old?
-or-
- Have you had a single spinal cord
injury or stroke, and are you
18-70 years old ?
- All participants in this study
should have no history of major leg injuries and should
be medically stable.
