The University of Michigan Direct Brain Interface Project is researching ways to operate devices (computers, communication devices, etc.) using only the electrical activity produced by the brain. EEG (Electroencephalograph) or ECoG (Electrocorticogram) signals may provide a pathway to enable a person with a disability to reliably control assistive technology without even moving.
