PIBS Program Overviews / Panel Discussion

 

Get answers to your questions about applying and attending graduate school from the experts! Receive an in-depth overview from our PIBS Directors to learn all about what opportunities we have to offer you including academic and peer support, financial package, the vibrant research community of UM, life in Ann Arbor and more! The program overview and interactive Q&A panel discussion will also provide attendees a better understanding of our admissions process and what we are looking for in competitive applicants.

Lunch and Graduate Program Information Tables
  Eat lunch and discuss your interests! Faculty members, current graduate students, and staff from the PIBS 14 Ph.D. training programs will be available to talk with you further about your specific research interests and address additional questions you may have in an informal setting. Each Ph.D. program will have their own information table to provide you with all that you need to know about the variety of UM graduate training opportunities in the biomedical sciences. Lunch will be a strolling buffet with small plates so that you can eat while visiting tables.

Campus Tour (optional)
  Experience the University of Michigan campus by taking a 30-45 minute walking tour with current graduate students!  This is a great opportunity to explore facilities and the campus to learn more about graduate studies and student life at UM.

** Please note: The Fall Open House is free to all prospective graduate students who wish to attend. This event will include light breakfast and lunch. Free parking is available. Please note, travel and lodging expenses are the responsibility of the open house attendee.**

 

I thought the panel discussion was very informative and I am very glad that I was able to attend.
