Academic Support
One of the greatest advantages of pursuing a graduate education at the University of Michigan is the amount of academic support available to students. Please explore the various student support services offered by the Rackham Graduate School. PIBS works closely with Rackham to connect students with all of the resources at their disposal for every aspect of their academic careers, both on and off campus.
Visit the Rackham Academic Resources and Support and Student Life Web site for more details.
Peer Support
In addition to the student support services offered by Rackham, two student-run organizations on the PIBS campus specifically address the unique needs of biomedical students. These groups give PIBS students the opportunity to meet each other, mentor and be mentored by other students, attend social events and activities throughout the year, and participate in charitable community service activities.
And, with more than 1000 official student organizations on campus, you are sure to find a group that matches your interests, or sparks a new one!
