Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan are home to annual world class events such as the annual Ann Arbor Art Fair. This fair, established in 1960, was recently named the best art fair in the country by AmericanStyle readers. Displays range from international artists to local organizations such as The Potters Guild make this a must see event each year. With over 500,000 attendees from across the nation and over 450 exhibitors it is easy to see this is no ordinary fair. Ann Arbor and the University are filled with numerous Museums of all kinds. On the University campus you'll find the University of Michigan Museum of Art, Ruthven Museum of Natural History, Kelsey Museum of Archeology, Museum of Dentistry, and the Art & Design Gallery. In Ann Arbor you can experience the Hands on Museum which provides an opportunity for people of all ages to discover and enjoy the wonder of science, math and technology in an interactive environment. Learn about the city itself at the Kempf House Center for Local History, or visit the Historic Cobblestone Farm and explore the spirit of mid-nineteenth century living.
