New Students
Start Date
You may choose to start in either July or September, 2013. You also have the option to defer admission for one year. Please notify the PIBS Office of your choice by June 1, 2013.
Summer Starters: Select a mentor for your summer rotation and inform PIBS by Friday, July 12.
Fall Starters: Select a mentor for your fall rotation and inform PIBS by Friday, September 13.
Orientation and Advising
We host a required orientation to provide you with information about registration, stipend payments and other important details.
After orientation, you will be required to meet individually with the PIBS director before registering for classes. During this meeting you will develop your overall academic plan and learn the names of and contact information for academic advisors in departments/programs in which you are most interested. You will be assigned a date and time by the PIBS staff and notified by email.

Orientation: Monday, July 1
Advising: July 1-3
Fall
Orientation: Monday, August 26
Advising: August 26 - 30
Special note for international students:
Plan to arrive the week before the scheduled PIBS orientation to attend your mandatory International Center Check-In.
