Class of 1999 Reunion
September 25-26, 2009
We request that the alumni from the PIBS class entering in 1999 join us for a nostalgic weekend in Ann Arbor this fall. On Thursday, September 24, join us at the Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest Resort to unwind from your travels and prepare for the festivities starting on Friday, September 25.
Friday morning, you may join the Medical School alumni at the Marriott for presentations by James O. Wooliscroft, M.D., Henry L. Paulson, M.D., Ph.D., Mario Delmar, M.D., Ph.D., and Eric Middleton, Ph.D. PIBS festivities start at noon for a luncheon at the Marriott, followed by a formal welcome at the brand new Biomedical Sciences Research Building on campus with Dr. Lori Isom and a panel discussion with senior PIBS students.
We then invite you back to where it all started: the Graduate and Postdoctoral Programs lounge for a reception with your colleagues and current PIBS students. From there, you may visit your mentor’s lab, stay in GAP to continue networking with current students, or venture into town and rediscover Ann Arbor. We will cap off the evening with a reception and dinner in Palmer Commons. After dinner we recommend resting up for Saturday morning’s homecoming tradition: tailgates and football!

*Please note: PIBS, with support from the Basic Sciences Departments, will fund up to three nights at the Marriott and all planned meals and activities including football tickets for alumni and their guests. Additionally, PIBS will assist alumni traveling to Ann Arbor by providing a travel stipend of up to $300 per alumni flight.
