Dietetic Internship

In October of 2009, the Accreditation Council of Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ASCEND) approved our request to create two Areas of Concentration, which are Clinical Nutrition and Pediatric Clinical Nutrition. If you are applying to both program concentrations, you must complete and submit a separate packet (see details below) for EACH concentration. Separate program codes have been established for each Area of Concentration and must be included with the on-line registration submitted to D&D Digital Systems.

Application Process

The UMHHC Dietetic Internship is participating in the Dietetic Internship Centralized Application System (DICAS), which requires that you submit your application through the centralized application portal. More information can be found at the DICAS website Please follow the DICAS guidelines for submitting your application, which must be received by DICAS no later than 11:59 p.m. CST on February 15, 2015 for the Spring Match. Be sure to include all DICAS payments that are required; the fee to use DICAS is $40 for the first application submitted and $20 for each additional application submitted.

A non-refundable fee of $75 per application is required to apply to the UMHHC Dietetic Internship program (one check for a total of $150 can be sent if applying to both concentrations).

(On-line payment is not open yet for 2015-16 applications)

(Select the appropriate concentration application, fill out all the required information, and you will be taken to a secure site for checkout and submission of your credit card information.)

For payment by check or money order, please make it payable to the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers and send to:
