  • High quality, professional pediatric services
  • Thorough 1-2 hour evaluation including physical examination
  • Medical and behavioral treatment
  • High quality patient information
  • Coordinated and ongoing care as needed
  • Collaboration with your primary care provider
  • A dictated letter will be sent to you and your primary care provider within 2-3 weeks
  • Telephone case managements between appointments
  • Prescription refills as needed
  • Intervention services when appropriate, including evaluation by a school specialist and occupational therapist.

We have a multidisciplinary clinic that includes evaluation by a Behavioral And Developmental pediatrician, board-certified pediatricians, a family nurse practitioner, a school specialist, an occupational therapist, and child-life support personnel. Our clinic uses the University of Washington and the Institute of Medicine diagnostic criteria to diagnose fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS) and alcohol-related neurodevelopmental disorder (ARND) caused by known or suspected prenatal exposure to alcohol.

It is our goal to provide a comprehensive evaluation for children who may have growth deficiency, facial anomalies, and brain injury because of alcohol exposure during gestation. We have an intervention clinic that focuses on strategies for management of cognitive and behavioral difficulties associated with fetal alcohol syndrome and alcohol-related neurodevelopmental disorder.

We offer a wide range of educational and training services:

  • Patient information handouts
  • Suggested additional reading sources
  • Educational videos
  • ADD/ADHD seminars

Your Appointment

Here are a few suggestions for making your visit more successful:

  • All new patients need a referral from your primary care provider.
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes early. This will give you time to find your way and register.
  • Call us if you can’t make it at least 3 days before your appointment so we can schedule others who want services.
  • Send us information. We want as much information on your child as possible.

Having information such as birth history, prior medical records, school records, test scores, and other records in advance of the appointment will enable us to compile your child’s records for a facilitated review prior to your visit. We spend a great deal of time reviewing the records you send us so we are able to make the most of your visit with us.

Let us know what you think and how we can improve. Your opinion matters to us. Please fill out a satisfaction survey at the end of your visit.
