Registry Overview as of February, 1995

The Registry currently contains data on nearly 700 children who have under gone pacemaker implantation since 1981. These children have had over 850 generators and nearly 950 pacing electrodes implanted . The number of implants per year is quite variable due to a variety of factors. In addition not all centers have provided data over the entire existence of the Registry.

At this time the Registry does not maintain chronic follow-up data beyond when the device was explanted or removed from service. Initial generator programming is reported but programming changes with time and chronic electrode thresholds are not reported.
