Biographical Information
Katherine A. Scott, BSN, RN
Katherine Scott is a Research Nurse at the University of Michigan, Chronic Pain and Fatigue Research Center (CPFRC). She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Michigan, School of Nursing. Prior to her involvement with the Chronic Pain and Fatigue Research Center, she served as a research nurse at the Michigan Clinical Research Unit (MCRU) and was a Pediatric Nurse at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital for 7 years. As part of the Chronic Pain and Fatigue Research Center, she is responsible for regulatory compliance for oversight organizations such as the UM IRBMED and NIH, and coordinating study start ups with the various entities involved. She maintains record of study visits, study medications, ensuring protocol compliance and data quality, and completes study closeout activities. She is also involved in liaison efforts with clinical drug sponsors.
Kate Brummett, BA
Kate Brummett is a Clinical Research Project Manager at the University of Michigan’s Chronic Pain & Fatigue Research Center. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies and Indonesian. Kate has been with the Center since 2009 and prior to her involvement with the Chronic Pain and Fatigue Research Center she spent several years as a senior analyst and project manager for the Department of Defense. As part of the Chronic Pain and Fatigue Research Center, Kate is responsible for regulatory compliance for oversight organizations such as the UM IRBMED and NIH, and coordinating study start ups with the various entities involved. She maintains quality contol of study visit records and study interventions, to ensure protocol compliance and overall data quality. Kate is also actively involved in various adminstrative aspects of sponsored research.
Emilia Mondrogon, BS
Emilia Mondragón is a Research Technician at the University of Michigan’s Chronic Pain & Fatigue Research Center. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Anthropology and aspires to have a career in health one day. She is currently the study coordinator for the Pain & Stress Management Study.
