Laptops

Residents (PGY 2-5) receive a departmentally funded laptop to use while in residency.

Conferences

Residents are sponsored to attend several educational courses during their residency

In addition, travel and lodging will be funded for any resident presenting a paper or poster at one meeting per presentation.  Additionally special funding for courses is occasionally available as well.  Residents are encouraged to attend other courses should opportunities arise.

Journals

Each resident is given subscriptions to both the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery as well as to the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
