Detroit Tigers host Base-Bowl with Champions event to benefit U-M C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital
Jan. 18 event to feature Detroit Tigers, former U-M sports stars
ANN ARBOR, MI – The American League champion Detroit Tigers will host the bowling event “Base-Bowl with Champions” at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18 at Colonial Lanes in Ann Arbor to benefit the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and the Detroit Tigers Foundation.
The charity event will offer the public the opportunity to bowling alongside members of the 2006 Detroit Tigers team and former U-M Wolverines players such as Oakland Raiders running back Tyrone Wheatley and Rick Leach, who played with the Detroit Tigers in the early 1980s.
General tickets to bowl with the Tigers and U-M sports stars are $60 each or $300 for a team of six. These tickets include unlimited pizza and pop, door prizes, a silent auction and more.
Tickets also are available for a special celebrity VIP reception following the bowling event. VIP tickets, which include bowling, photographs and autographs with the sports stars, as well as special give-a-ways and a live auction, are $100 each or $500 for a team of six.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Detroit Tigers Foundation and the C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital fundraising campaign.
