OHEI at University of Michigan Health System
More than a decade into the 21st century, Americans still face tremendous variations in health and health care, depending on what they look like, where they live, where they come from, what they earn and other factors. This is something we have the power to change.
The University of Michigan Health System's Office for Health Equity and Inclusion (OHEI) develops mechanisms for inclusion, diversity and cultural sensitivities among faculty, learners and staff, and advances clinical care and research that targets underserved populations. Our goal is to transform health care to ensure equity in our time.
As an integrated learning health system, we are here to listen to what works, bring change to where it is needed, and support anyone who wants to be engaged with our mission.
