Fatigue

1st, 2nd, 3rd Trimesters

Feeling tired or fatigued is common during pregnancy, especially during the 1st and 3rd trimesters. Exercise, rest, naps, and a healthy diet will help you feel better and less tired.

Anemia may contribute to fatigue. Your blood count will be checked in the first and third trimesters to check for anemia. You may need to take additional iron to prevent or treat anemia.
