Marni Arnett, BBA

Marni Arnett

 

 

Ms. Arnett received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan in 1992. She is currently the Financial Manager for the Pelvic Floor Research Group.

Luyun Chen, PhD

Luyun Chen

Dr. Chen received her bachelor and master of science in Engineering, majoring in precision instrumentation from Tsinghua University in 2001. She received her masters in electrical engineering system in 2006 and applied statistics in 2007 and Ph.D in Biomedical Engineering in 2008 from University of Michigan. She worked as Research Scientist in Xoran technologies Inc, a startup CT medical imaging company in Ann Arbor for two years. Currently she is a research fellow in Biomechanics Research Lab, intrested in pelvic floor functional anatomy and modeling.

 

 

Kenneth E. Guire, M.A.

Ken Guire

 

 

Mr. Guire received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Michigan in 1965. He went on to receive a Master of Arts in Statistics from the University of Michigan in 1967. Mr. Guire is the biostatistician for the PERL2, OPAL, EPI and SCOR projects.

Quinn Hamilton, B.A.

Quinn Hamilton

 

 

Ms. Hamilton received a Bachelor of Arts in Women's and Gender Studies from Yale University in 2005. She joined the PFRG in 2005 serving as a research assistant for the OPAL2, and OPAL-PW projects.

Ruta B. Misiunas, B.A.

Ruta Misiunas

 

 

Ms. Misiunas received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Michigan in 1982. Ms. Misiunas is a clinical research coordinator for the PERL1+, IRIS and EMRLD projects.

Lee Park, M.S.

 

 

Ms. Park received a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from the University of Seoul National University in 1976. She went on to receive a Master of Science in biochemistry from University of Seoul National University in 1978. Ms. Park is a data management and lab technician on the PERL+ and IRIS projects.

 

 

Suzan Rohrer, R.T., B.A.

 

 

Ms. Rohrer recieved her Associates degree in Applied Sciences from Grand Rapids Community College in 1995 and her Bachelors degree in Health Policy Studies in 2005 from the University of Michigan, Dearborn. Suzan works with the EMRLD2 and OPAL PW projects of the SCOR2 grant as a MRI technician.

Meg Tolbert, M.S.N., A.P.R.N., B.C.

Meg Tolbert

 

 

Ms. Tolbert received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University in 1984. She went on to receive a Master of Science as an adult health nurse practitioner from Villanova University in 1997. Ms. Tolbert is a research laboratory specialist for the PERL1+ and IRIS projects.

Julie Tumbarello, M.A.

 

Ms. Tumbarello received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology with minors in Southeast Asian Studies and Women's Studies from Northern Illinois in 1993. She went on to receive a Master of Arts in Anthropology from Northern Illinois University in 1996 and continued for 2 years in Medical Anthropology at the University of California, San Fransciso. Ms. Tumbarello is the Pelvic Floor Research Group Project Manager.

Vidya Chakravarthy

Vidya Chakravarthy

 

Ms. Chakravarthy is an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan working towards a Bachelor’s degree in English. She plans to graduate in 2010. After graduation she plans to attend medical school. She currently is a research assistant/lab technician for the EMRLD project at the School of Nursing.

Dana Fadel

Dana Fadel

 

Ms. Fadel is a freshman at the Unversity of Michigan, pursuing a degree in pre-health. She is expcted to graduate in 2012. After graduation she plans to attend medical school. She currently functions in the PFRG as a work-study student in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Laura Newcomb

Laura Newcomb

 

Ms. Newcomb will receive her Bachelor of Science in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Michigan in May 2009. She plans to apply to Medical School after taking a gap year working in the medical field. She functions in the PFRG as a Student Research Assistant.
