George W. Morley Society
The George W. Morley Society is an alumni organization that is open to membership for any gynecologic oncologist who has trained at the University of Michigan as medical student, resident, fellow, or faculty. The society is named in honor of George W. Morley, MD, the distinguished founder of the University of Michigan Division of Gynecologic Oncology and the Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Program. Dr. Morley was the consummate gentleman, educator, surgeon and scholar, and he inspired generations of physicians to aspire to be the best. Members of the George W. Morley Society span the globe from Germany to Hawaii. The Society meets for a social function at every annual meeting of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists.
