We offer remarkable Obstetrics and Gynecology services. With close to 4,000 deliveries every year, our expertise shows. Our divisions of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecology, Gynecology Oncology, Reproductive Medicine and Women's Health work together closely to make the best use of U-M's wide array of resources, such as:

- minimally invasive surgery, endoscopic surgery and robotic surgery that is state of the art

Teaching
Our residency program attracts the best and brightest. The Department is among the select few in the United States that offer fellowships in all four areas approved by the American Board for Obstetrics and Gynecology:
- Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
- Gynecologic Oncology
- Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Reproductive Endocrinology
In addition:
- Our Minimally Invasive Surgery and Pelvic Pain Training Program is formally recognized by both the Society of Reproductive Surgeons and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
- We use our well-equipped Clinical Simulation Laboratory for important hands-on training.
- We have established a Women’s Health Advanced Training Fellowship and a Family Planning Fellowship.
Research
Our research program is consistently among the top 10 National Institutes of Health-funded Obstetrics and Gynecology research programs in the country.
