Voices: A New Nursing Vision of Our Own
On
May 14 & 15, 2002, a microcosm of the Nursing Community met
for an unheralded event. The purpose was to create a shared
vision and powerful voice, which would advance the art and science
of Nursing and revolutionize leadership, education, research and
transform patient care.
Whole-Scale
™ Change was the dynamic and powerful methodology utilized.
It is a way to involve the whole organization in a fast and comprehensive
change. It engages the knowledge, wisdom and heart of people to
create the establishment of communities of their own choosing.
The outcome of the two-days left everyone with a sense of eagerness
to begin anew, to demonstrate to everyone the promises of our
vision statement.
