Welcome!

The Nursing Research Partnership (NRP) aims to unite UMHS Nursing Services and the School of Nursing with a common purpose -
collaboration to generate and use research that supports evidence-based practice (EBP).

Our vision:
A nursing community of clinicians and scholars leading innovative practice and research to transform healthcare.

Our mission:
Develop a sustainable infrastructure to value, generate, and use research to support evidence-based practice and promote quality outcomes.

Browse the website and links to find information about research and EBP, our active projects, and learn about institutional resources available to all staff, students, and faculty.

Check here often for updates regarding conferences, abstract and grant deadlines!

Please submit research-related announcements to Terri Voepel-Lewis for posting by the 15th of the month to be reviewed and posted by the following month.

LibraryThe Medical Library is inviting all to a tour of new clinical electronic resources on November 30 and December 10 in UH 2C228. This drop-in session is open from 11 am - 2 pm. For more information, take a look at the flyer.

National Nursing Practice Network (NNPN)

The University of Michigan Nursing Services has joined the National Nursing Practice Network (NNPN), a consortium of healthcare organizations dedicated to evidence-based nursing practice, as a co-sponsor. The NNPN fosters exceptional patient outcomes through the promotion and application of evidence-based practice at all levels of the care continuum, and offers a host of evidence-based practice (EBP) guidelines, policies, and educational opportunities (on-line journal clubs and continuing education sessions) for its membership.

Your membership is free of charge to you so please consider signing into the NNPN website and joining this exciting network of peers! Also, we need staff nurses for the NNPN directory who can help identify important topics of interest. If you are interested, please contact Terri Voepel-Lewis so that your contact information can be forwarded.

*If you are collaborating with School of Nursing faculty, please
contact them to see if they may assist you with your abstract. While
the deadline is too short for INARC, if you plan to submit to MNRS for
Sept 15, please contact the NRP if you would like assistance preparing
