Professional Overview

Rose is a true-blue Michigan nurse (she "worships Michigan football"). After graduation from the U of M School of Nursing she started her practice at the University of Michigan Health System at "Old Main" in the Burn Care Unit. In 1986, with the move to the new hospital, she assumed a permanent charge nurse position in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.

Since 1987, Rose has been in nursing management, first as an Assistant Head Nurse and then as a Nurse Manager of a vascular surgery unit. She has been the Nurse Manager of the Holden Nursing Services since 1997. Her clinical expertise is in intensive care nursing.

Rose is a member of Rho chapter, Sigma Theta Tau, National Organization of Neonatal Nurses (NANN), and Southeastern Michigan Association of Neonatal Nurses (SMANN).
