Professional
Overview
Nancy
has been a member of the UMHS since 1967. She began her career
as a transporter in 1967 as a summer job. Nancy has since
served in the role of inpatient unit clerk, private secretary,
and nursing assistant. She joined the ranks of the nursing
profession in July 1990 has advanced through both the pediatric
and adult cancer programs as a CnI, II and clinical care coordinator.
In Feb. 2002, she assumed the administrative role of clinical
nursing supervisor.
In addition
to Cancer Nursing, Nancy also has experience in palliative
care, GI/transplant, rehabilitation and head pain specialties.
In 1990,
Nancy was the recipient of the Judy Judd Maternity Award from
the UM School of Nursing. Nancy also served in the community
as a member of the Washtenaw County Emergency Medical Services
Commission, 1984-1990.
Nancy
is a member of the Ambulatory Care Leadership Group, Cancer
Center Pharmacy Committee, and Cancer Center Operations Council.
