Our outpatient
clinical programs specialize in the comprehensive evaluation
and treatment of older adults. We can provide you with ongoing
primary care or coordinate your care with your regular physician.
Our health care team includes physicians, clinical nurse specialists,
nurses and social workers. These professionals work together
to evaluate and treat health problems that become more common
with aging such as:

- Depression
- Diabetes
- Falls
and Mobility

Loss
- Osteoporosis
Specialty
services collaborating with Geriatric Medicine include: Neurology,
Psychiatry, Audiology, Cardiology, Dentistry, Endocrinology
and Metabolism, Neuropsychology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation,
and Rheumatology.

of Care
The goal
of the University of Michigan Geriatrics Center is to help
adults over the age of 60 lead healthier and more satisfying
lives. The Geriatrics Center has provided quality patient
care, health promotion activities, learning programs and community
resource information for over twenty years. All of our staff
has special training and a special interest in working with
older adults.
