Central Staffing Resource (CSR) nurses practice the specialty of float nursing by providing quality patient care across a wide variety of patient settings, which includes inpatient units and ambulatory care clinics. Our holistic practice demonstrates that patients and families come first. CSR also provides clerical resource support and patient attendants to inpatient units. Medical assistant support is provided to the Ambulatory Care areas. Nursing students have opportunities to work as nursing assistants across all settings.

CSR employees are assigned to Clinical Clusters and float within a limited number of units.
