Professional
Overview
Pam has
practiced in many and various specialties of nursing including
pediatrics, academic private practice, hemodialysis, long
term care private sector, and peri-operative nursing. She
has been project coordinator in setting up both hospital-based
and freestanding ambulatory surgery centers. Pam finds that
although she has found career enrichment in all areas of her
nursing practice she has most enjoyed working and helping
to support not only an environment for providing good patient
care but one in which staff continue to grow and develop.
Pam has
written a chapter "Personnel Management Selection and
Development" in Ambulatory Surgical Nursing, (2000).
