The
U-M Cancer Center (UMCC) is a nationally recognized
cancer center with nearly 300 cancer clinicians and
researchers.
These cancer experts work together in clinical
programs which bring new prevention, detection and
treatment discoveries to more than 25 specialty cancer
care clinics.
The UMCC has cancer experts in virtually every type
of cancer, from the most common to the rarest forms.
In addition to our cancer care clinics, we offer a full
array of services and treatment
areas enabling us to meet all of our patients' medical
needs.
We
also know that cancer does not just affect our patients'
bodies. It has a profound impact on the lives of our
patients. In order to assist our patients and their
loved ones through this process, we have a number of
Patient/Family
Support Programs and Services.
We
work very diligently to make the time that our patients
and families spend with us as pleasant as possible.
To that end, the Cancer Center and the University of
Michigan Health System, offer a number of amenities
(such as the Guest Assistance Program, Gift Shops, Chaplain
Services, a Notary Public, to name a few).
