Professional Overview

Marie has many years of clinical and leadership experience.  She led a team to implement the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Physician Office Healthcare Quality Improvement program for several years.  This program focused on working collaboratively with Michigan primary care physician practices statewide to assist with delivery of patient centered care, implementation of the chronic care model, and adoption of health information technology.  The majority of her clinical experience has been in the ambulatory care setting as a Medical Oncology RN and Rheumatology Clinical Nurse Specialist.  She was certified as an Oncology nurse and she is certified as a Professional in Healthcare Quality.  She also held a Nurse Manager position in a home health agency.  Marie is a member of the Michigan Association for Healthcare Quality.
