12th Annual Meeting of the
Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco

Orlando, Florida - February 15-18

Two individuals from our group received travel awards to attend the 12th Annual Meeting of the Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco in Orlando, FL, Feb. 15-18:

Kristen Adams, a medical student mentored by Dr. Maher Karam-Hage, received funding from SRNT to present her poster entitled "Sex-specific differences between smokers with and without DSM-IV alcohol abuse."

Raphaela Ninowski, Project Coordinator in the Nicotine Research Laboratory, received funding from the University of Michigan Tobacco Research Network (UMTRN) to present her poster entitled "Characteristics of early and late onset smokers."

The Niclab staff, along with our collaborators from EMU, presented a grand total of 12 posters at this years meeting!
