About Barton Hills Country Club

Barton Hills Country Club is one of the finest private country clubs in the area.   The club was designed by Donald Ross in 1922.  Barton Hills offers scenic terrain, as well as quiet surroundings, which combines to provide for an enjoyable and relaxing round of golf.  The club has hosted the US Women’s Amateur Championship (1998), and will host the US Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship in September, 2008.

At the Motor City Golf Classic on August 18th……..Motor City Golf Classic participants who arrive early can “brush up” on (or “tweak”-- if you are a low handicapper) their game by using the Barton Hills practice facilities.  In addition to the driving range, there are three practice putting greens, and a separate area for short game and sand practice.  In addition, Nike representatives will be on the driving range, allowing you to “experiment” with the latest and greatest in Nike golf equipment.
