Attire
- Thursday cocktail reception: Casual attire is appropriate.
- Friday Scientific Meeting: Business casual attire is appropriate.
- Friday dinner: Business casual attire is appropriate.
- Saturday roundtable: Business casual is appropriate.
- Saturday BBQ: Casual attire is appropriate.
Accommodations
We have a block of rooms reserved at the Campus Inn under the name U-M Neurosurgery for Thursday and Friday night stays. It shouldn’t be a problem to extend the reservation for Saturday night if you choose to stay until Sunday. The phone number is 734.769.2200. The Campus Inn is located .48 miles from Palmer Commons, where the scientific meeting will take place.
Transportation
If you are flying in to Detroit Metro Airport, there are many transportation options available including luxury car and taxi services as well as car rental agencies.
Parking at Palmer Commons for the Scientific Meeting
The Palmer Commons parking structure is a U-M faculty-staff parking facility with 180 visitor parking spaces. It is adjacent to Palmer Commons at the intersection of Washtenaw Avenue and Palmer Drive. You can park in any visitor spot.
