Residency Training Program
Hometown: Westhampton, NY
College: Union College, Schenectady, NY
Med School: Albany Medical College, NY
Following medical school I made the move to Ann Arbor for both my intern year and neurology residency here at U of M. I chose Michigan's neuro residency because of the breadth and depth of the program. As a resident I was not sure where my career plans would take me and I wanted to make sure I chose a program that would expose me to all areas of neurology. In addition, the faculty at Michigan struck me as unique. In my interviewing I did not come across another department with world class faculty who were so accessible, eager to teach and yet were so down to earth and informal. In general, the people at U of M are great including; staff, nursing, residents and attendings from all disciplines. I am also a big sports fan and southeast Michigan has proved to be a great sports community. They are very passionate about their teams and the area is unique in that they have access to major collegiate and professional sports all year round..
