Funding from sources such as the National Institutes of Health is not available for this very early type of research.
• Gifts make possible the recruiting to Michigan of more of the brightest medical-scientist minds in the nation, helping to build the kind of powerful, collaborative environment where great things happen.
• Gifts make possible fellowships and scholarships to support the work of the students, residents and fellows who form an important part of the research and clinical teams everywhere in the University of Michigan Health System.
