Dr. Gruis's research focuses on strategies to improve ALS clinical care including assessing compliance with BIPAP therapy, and the possible use of neuroprosthetics. She also has research interests in evaluating the safety of electrodiagnostic testing of patients on blood thinners and techniques to better assess and understand the pathology of metabolic myopathies.
