Stroke

The Stroke Program in Neurology accepts referrals for the evaluation and treatment of adults who have had strokes or transient ischemic attacks (TIAs) or who may have conditions that put them at risk for stroke. The stroke neurologists in the Stroke Program are all Board-Certified and have completed stroke fellowship programs. We are a part of the Comprehensive Stroke Program at UMMC which brings together specialists in Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology, Emergency Medicine, and Cardiology to provide comprehensive stroke care. Our goal is to evaluate patients and to provide them and their physicians with the information needed to provide the best continuing care and the best stroke prevention.
