| Pediatric Sleep and Behavior Clinic
A multidisciplinary Pediatric Sleep and Behavior Clinic is held on Friday mornings in the Department of Pediatrics and Communicable Diseases, Taubman Clinic (1st floor, Area D). This Clinic is dedicated to the evaluation of sleep disorders in infants, children, and adolescents, and to assessment of daytime behavior problems that often accompany sleep disorders. Sleep specialists evaluate and treat children with sleep-disordered breathing, insomnia, excessive daytime sleepiness, unusual movements or behaviors during sleep, nightmares or night terrors, and disorders of the sleep/wake schedule. The team is made up of physicians and a psychologist with expertise in medical and behavioral aspects of sleep. Each child is scheduled with the appropriate member or members of the Clinic based on presenting concerns.
