MWorks Occupational Health Services focuses on
preventing and managing work-related injuries and illnesses at your
company while reducing costs. We provide responsive and cost-effective
services to employers in Washtenaw county and surrounding areas.
MWorks collaborates with other resources within the University of
Michigan to provide 24-hour injury treatment and a continuum of
services to meet the needs of employers, employees, and insurers.
MWorks'
physicians are board certified and residency trained in occupational
medicine with years of experience in developing medical surveillance
and injury management protocols. This expertise allows us to address
an array of needs, from minor injuries to complex chemical and environmental
exposures. In addition, our experts can help identify the causes
of work-related illnesses or injuries at your facilities, minimizing
the likelihood of reoccurrence.
Effective, Quality Care
MWorks is proud of the care that we provide. Our
history demonstrates aggressive treatment with an emphasis on returning
the employee to work. Recent data indicates that:
- 93 percent of all employees seen for work-related
illness or injury were released to full or restricted duty on
the initial treatment date.
- Over 98 percent of employees were released
to full or restricted work in seven days or less.
In addition, MWorks prides itself on providing
exemplary customer service to both employers and employees. Employers
cite continuity of care and prompt service as playing a major role
in their high level of satisfaction. MWorks makes every effort to
schedule follow-up treatment with the same physician the employee
saw at the initial visit.
Our customer service focus has resulted in:

employers, employees and payors. We work closely with all parties
to establish and comply with precertification and utilization management

MWorks offers:
- A dedicated Client Service Representative
- Work status reports on the same day as treatment
- Physician dictated notes within 72 hours
