Grocery Store Tours
Participants acquire the basic skills to purchase healthier and affordable culturally appropriate foods. Participants also learn about selecting food from different ethnic grocery stores to increase healthy food options.

Health Promotion and Education
Programs range from monthly health tips to workplace programs on such topics as stress management, healthy eating and quitting smoking. We can create new programs or customize existing programs to meet group-specific needs. Some fees may apply.

Menu Design
Participants are taught basic menu writing techniques and skills that will enable them to prepare healthier ethnic menus.

Physical Activity
Obtain assistance in developing a culturally appropriate physical activity program at worksites, churches and other organizations. Organizational members will be trained in the basics of physical activity, how to develop a culturally appropriate program and tips to keep activities going year round.

Video Lending Library
The videos are one-hour presentations on a variety of health topics and cultures that can be used as informal training.
