Physical Activity

Research shows that physical activity can significantly reduce and prevent major chronic diseases such as heart disease, obesity, hypertension and diabetes among several ethnic groups. That is why physical activity is an important component of the Program for Multicultural Health.

We take into account the relationship between physical activity and culture, and work with all segments of underserved populations: seniors, youth and adults.  To all of our projects, we bring solid knowledge of behavioral patterns, cultural beliefs, the movement arts, and research about physical activity and culture.
