Cultural Competency - Patient Statistics Reports
View local, state, and national demographic and statistics. Race and religion statistics of the UMHS in/out-patient population are also available.
UMHS Patient Statistics
General Information
- To create statistics reports by institution (UMHHC),
department (i.e., Anesthesiology) or clinic (outpatient
only) for inpatients or outpatients by race or religion,
please follow the instructions below.
- These reports can be generated for different specified
time periods (i.e., yearly, monthly, weekly, etc.).
- Data is available starting from 1996 up to two months
prior to the current date.
- For technical assistance, please contact Amy Zhao (guanhuaz@med.umich.edu), an ePortfolio administrator with MCIT.
- Statistics are available only for UMHS employees.
Inpatient:
- Data used to generate these statistics were obtained through the Department of Admissions and Business Services at the UMHS's data warehouse.
Outpatient:
- Data is also generated through the Department of Outpatient Registration and Insurance Verification through the UMHS Clinical Data Repository (CDR).
Instructions
- E-mail cultural.competency@umich.edu with the following information:
- Indicate for which department(s) and/or clinic(s), or UMHS inpatient and/or outpatient data is requested.
- Specify whether the request is for race and/or religion data.
- Designate the time period data is needed.
- Please include your unique name, full name, department, and work area.
- The Cultural Competency Division will:
- facilitate the establishment of your account.
- process your request.
- Your requested report will be sent to your e-mail address from crystalenterprise.
