Niya Gu holds a Master of Science degree in Statistics from Michigan State University and a B.S of Computer Information System from the North China Electric Power University. Ms. Gu worked as a biostatistician for the Michigan Family Medicaid Program in the Institute of Health Care Studies at the Medical College of Michigan State before she joined M-SCORE. At the University of Michigan, Ms. Gu is responsible for the development and management of large national administrative databases, including the AHA, SEER, SEER-linked Medicare and Socioeconomic data for research related to health care disparities and cost variation.
