Dr. Finlayson is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Colorectal Surgery. After receiving her medical degree from Harvard Medical School, she completed training in General Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco and in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Finlayson also received a Master's Degree in clinical epidemiology and clinical research design at Dartmouth Medical School. Dr. Finlayson's primary research focus is in using administrative databases to evaluate outcomes after major surgery in the elderly.
