Jonathan F. Finks, MD
Assistant Professor of Surgery
 

Jonathan Finks, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastrointestinal Surgery. Dr. Finks graduated from Harvard College with a B.A. in English Literature. He received his MD degree from the University of California, Irvine in 1998 and completed a residency in General Surgery at the University of Cincinnati in 2003. He underwent further training as a fellow in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University, where he completed a certificate course in clinical research through the Human Investigations Program. Dr Finks' clinical interests are in the arena of minimally invasive foregut and bariatric surgery. Dr. Finks' primary research focus is in identifying and improving intraoperative processes which affect quality of care in surgical patients.
