M-SCORE aims to examine and improve the safety, effectiveness and cost-efficiency of surgical care in the United States. Toward these goals, M-SCORE hopes to provide the intellectual environment and other resources for high-impact health services research, to train young surgeons as future leaders in this field, and to translate research into meaningful improvements in clinical care and health policy.
