9.4T, 16-cm Horizontal Bore Varian UNITY INOVA

: CMI has a 9.4 Telsa actively shielded Oxford magnet. 9.4T is equipped with a VNMRJ Dell workstation. The 9.4 tesla MR system has a 4 cm diameter gradient insert with 80 gauss/cm gradient strength which allows for microimaging of mice. These systems also have high-resolution phase shifters on both observe and decoupler rf channels, two 300 watt observe amplifiers and 100 watt decoupler amplifier. This MRI microscope provides for excellent imaging of small structures in both animals and samples.
