Description: The Center for Molecular Imaging (CMI) at the University of Michigan, is looking for research assistants to conduct small animal imaging using state of the art imaging equipment. The CMI includes a 7T/310 and 9.4T/160 Varian animal spectrometers, a Micro-CT, a tri-modality imaging system MicroPET/SPECT/CT as well as optical imaging techniques (Bioluminescence and Fluorescence).

Requirements: Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in an appropriate discipline, such as physics, biomedical engineering, biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology or chemistry. Candidates should have demonstrated excellence in the field of imaging sciences as applied to experimental in vivo research demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications and productivity during their Ph.D. studies. The ideal candidate would have a strong MRI or PET background and an interest in applying these technologies to address specific questions related to our research programs.
