Women's Hospital is the Michigan Difference for families
The hospital's 28-room, 32-maternity bed Birth Center was one of the first facilities in the country to offer single-room maternity care to all mothers and families. The Birth Center allows women to labor, give birth, recover and keep their babies with them in one private room until it is time to go home.
In addition to routine pregnancies, Women's Hospital also is uniquely prepared for the most complicated cases. By sharing a location with one of the nation's top neonatal intensive care units, the Women's Hospital provides continuous care for:
- women with complicated pregnancies
- newborn infants experiencing exceptional medical problems
- infants who may need continuous treatment throughout childhood.
