When you have a question about the U-M Hospitals and Health Centers, the information desk is the place to go for answers. Friendly and knowledgable staff will provide directions to your appointment, help you find the patient you are visiting, direct you to the nearest ATM, public phone, restroom or gift shop, inform you where to find food, and much, much more.
You will find information desks at the following locations:
- The University Hospital Welcome Center – This information desk is located near the main University Hospital entrance on Level 1. It is open from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays and from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends. To contact this Welcome Center, call 734-936-6641. See University Hospital general tour for more information.
- The Mott and Women's Hosptial Welcome Center – This information desk is located in the Taubman Center, Level 2, at the entrance to/from Parking Structure A. The desk is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. See map for more information.
- Other information desks can be found at the north end of the Taubman Center entrance. These desks are accessible from Parking Structure A on Levels 1, 2 and 3, and are open Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Customers can also receive wayfinding information from staff at the Admissions/Business Services front desk. The desk is located inside the Mott Hospital entrance near Big Bird and is open 24 hours.
