C. S. Mott Children's Hospital
Child and Family Life
Hospitalization and treatments for chronic illness can interrupt a child’s normal development and impact the entire family. That's why our Child and Family Life program exists - to support pediatric patients and their families during these emotional times. The program draws on the skills and experience of an interdisciplinary team of activity therapists, art therapists, certified teachers, child life assistants, child life specialists, recreational therapists, an infant massage instructor and a music therapist to promote the healthy development and coping abilities of children and teens.
