Support and Education for Young ICD Recipients
Come join us for an event celebrating and educating those touched by ICDs. Our goal is to educate in a festive yet relaxed atmosphere while connecting with others who share similar experiences. This event is free of charge and graciously provided by Medtronic Inc.

Two Days of Fun!
Friday, 17th - 7:00 - 9:00 pm
Welcome Reception: Meet, Greet, & EatSaturday, 18th - 7:45 - 10:00 am
Registration; Breakfast; Welcome and Perspectives from Special Guests10 - 11:55am
Adults break out for support sessions (choose one):
A. Women’s group: Women with ICDs who are over 18.
B. Men’s group: For the guys with ICDs
C. Parents of ICD patients group
D. Spouses, significant others group
*Siblings / Friends, feel free to attend any of the above sessions.
Teens have the Young Men and Women’s group
Kids go to Wiard’s Orchard!12:45 - 1:45am
Have lunch and catch "Contagious Optimism." Our speaker, Laura MacKimmie, is a Psychologist and Life Coach. She works with individuals and groups on finding balance and purpose in their lives. More about Laura can be found at her web site.1:00 - 2:15am
Afternoon sessions for adults (choose one):
A. Genetic Testing for ICD patients: Who's your Daddy?
B. The Role of ICDs in Congenital Heart Disease
C. The role of ICDs in Ischemic and Non-ischemic heart disease

Teens and kids will have an entertaining activity!3:30 - 4:30pm
Sessions for adults (choose one):
A. Panel – Connect with the Experts
B. Yoga for stretching and relaxation
C. Home-monitoring / ICDs

Teens will be expressing themselves through art.
Kids will be entertianed by our Magician Steve Zieman.4:30 - 8:00pm
Closing reception, dinner and dancing!
